Soft-boiled egg, recipe

L'soft-boiled eggis that morequickin preparation and cooking times. It starts with cold water, where you add your egg to be cooked. From when it starts to boil, you have to count 60 - 90 seconds! At the time of boiling, lower the heat.

How to make the egg bazzotto

The bazzotto egg (or barzotto) should be cooked for the time necessary to completely coagulate the egg white (the white). The cooking must not be prolonged otherwise the yolk will also begin to solidify.

To prepare a quick egg you have to add the eggs to cold water and, from the moment of boiling, count 3 - 4 minutes depending on the size of the egg you need to cook.

At the time of boiling, lower the heat.

How to make omelette

L'omeletteis an egg-based dish quickly cooked in boiling oil or hot butter. It is generally used to serve it stuffed.

The stuffed omelette is stuffed with cheese and chives. Often the filling is made up of vegetables (courgettes or grilled aubergines, peppers, mushrooms…) or meat, especially cooked ham.

L'omeletteis a typical French dish while theomeletteshe is Italian! But what are the differences betweenomelette and omelette? The omelette is cooked only on one side and then folded. On the contrary, theomeletteit must be turned over.

Light omelette

For one more versionlight, omelette (or omelette) can only be prepared with egg whites, beaten with a small amount of milk. In this way you will put the yolks aside, it is the yolks that contain most of the fat.

What to do with the yolks? How about a good eggnog or marinated egg yolks?

Poached egg, recipe

Again this is aboiled eggbut… without shell! The egg white solidifies while the yolk remains creamy. The poached egg is rather "light", not in nutritional or caloric terms but in terms of digestibility!

Boil the water, lower the heat to low. The water should boil gently. Add some salt and a teaspoon of vinegar. Break the egg into a saucer and slide it gently into the pot where you previously created a vortex by swirling a spoon abruptly. Let the poached egg cook for 3 minutes, the time that the egg white will be solid.

Collect the egg with a slotted spoon, drain it and place it on the plate to serve.

How to make a fried egg

Commonly known asbull's-eye egg, L'fried eggit is undoubtedly the simplest to prepare.

It can be prepared on a non-stick pan or, in a classic way, in a pan with a light frying in oil. In fact, the classic recipe involves frying in a minimum amount of oil, just enough to not do itattackat the bottom of the pan.

To prepare it, just break the egg and place it in the pan. The fried egg will be ready when the "white" has solidified, leaving the yolk still soft.

You can serve it with freshly ground pepper and a pinch of salt.
